The Cave is positioned directly alongside a 350-year-old limestone cellar at the edge of the estate. Contemporary mirrored architecture stands in deliberate contrast to the mass and texture of the historic structure below.

The Interior

The cabin is a fully insulated, self-contained ÖÖD Mirror House designed for two.

Inside you find:

– Queen-size bed

– Private bathroom

– Open-plan lounge and dining space

– Fully equipped kitchenette for preparing simple meals

– Integrated heating, cooling and floor heating

– Full-height glazing opening toward uninterrupted countryside views

Oak-panelled interiors and South African-made kiaat furniture introduce warmth and material weight within the mirrored envelope.

You can dine indoors or step directly onto your private terrace.

Terrace & Sauna

The Cave extends onto its own elevated outdoor terrace.
Beyond the deck sits your detached wood-fired sauna, positioned independently within the landscape and fully reserved for your use.

You step out from the cabin.

You walk across your private terrace.

You enter heat.

The stove is wood-fired.

Setting

The cabin sits within meadow planting designed to evolve through the seasons.

The historic manor, limestone cellars and preserved pigeonnier remain on the property as architectural backdrop. You do not stay in them. They frame the setting.
